Aviaries

As you walk along our network of landscaped trails and ponds you will find aviaries that house many different raptor species like Northern Saw-whet Owls, Snowy Owls, Ferruginous Hawks and Turkey Vultures.

As a working conservation centre, all of our birds are either non-releasable due to severe injuries that result in permanent disabilities, or are in the process of being rehabilitated for future release.

Since some injured birds do not recover enough to survive in the wild, we give them a forever home. Here they can thrive while helping us with environmental learning, or they can become foster parents to wild orphans.
