Private Owl Encounters
Take your love of owls to a whole new level as you interact with owl species not available to all our visitors.

This includes:


  • Feed a grown up owlet (May & June only)
  • Encounters with a Barn Owl, Short-eared Owl & Saw-whet Owl
  • Must be reserved in advance; preferably via email.

Exclusive Eagle Encounter

Imagine a Golden Eagle sitting on your arm for a once in a lifetime photo!
Don't miss the chance to get nose to beak with this magestic species and learn all about Eagles. 

 

Have your photo taken holding one of our oldest educational ambassador, Sarah the Golden Eagle.

 

  • Must be arranged in advance.

Raptor apprentice for a day!
This full day experience is designed mainly for children 8 years of age and up.  The young raptor apprentice will shadow one of our staff all day long and help with all centre activities including;
  • Morning food preparation.
  • Cleaning up around the birds.
  • Changing water baths.
  • Holding some owls for visitors.
  • Feeding our ducks.
  • Assisting with flying demonstrations.
     
This is a great introduction to what it's like to work at our centre. To make this even more memorable, we will document all work activities with digital photographs that will be made available at the end of the day.
