Rescue & Release

The primary focus of our organization is rescue and release of injured hawks, falcons, eagles, owls and vultures. Our goal is to work cooperatively with Alberta Fish & Wildlife to give birds in need a second chance of life back in the wild.

Although most birds come from the southern Alberta region, we have cared for birds from across Canada. As Alberta’s first non-government operated rehabilitation facility, we have been carrying out our volunteer wildlife rescue work everyday since 1982.
